ORA-12560:TNS:protocol adapter error(windows)

While you're logging sys / as sysdba you may get this error on windows


Problem:

ORA-12560:TNS:protocol adapter error

Solution:


C:\>set oracle_sid=necodb

C:\>sqlplus

SQL*Plus: Release 11.2.0.1.0 Production on 17:06:19 2012
